At long last, my 20 ply Pearl reference snare is in the house! Weighing in at a healthy 9kg or so, this fella really packs a punch. You can see how thick the shell is in the last photo. Can't wait to play on it!

The happy couple. Thanks to someone's mobile, the surprise was blown to bits but was still great fun. Morale of the story, turn off your mobiles when you're at a surprise party!!! Haha...

My younger sister Fiona had her graduation today. Grandma flew all the way from Malaysia to attend the ceremony. Still think UNSW is the better uni though!
